This is a list of natural history museums, also known as museums of natural history, i.e. museums whose exhibits focus on the subject of natural history, including such topics as animals, plants, ecosystems, geology, paleontology, and climatology. Several museums are attached to the university. The Lund University Historical Museum is based in the Lundagård park. Its exhibitions were updated in 2018 and cover the history, archeology and zoology of Scania. There is a separate Lund Cathedral museum.

Museum of Zoology; A community of scholars dedicated to studying the evolutionary origins, history, maintenance and conservation of the world's biota, to archiving and documenting changes in biodiversity through its research collections and to educating our students in this search for knowledge. The collections of fungus gnats by Johan Wilhelm Zetterstedt (1785-1874), lodged in the Museum of Zoology in Lund, Sweden, are examined for all species belonging in the tribe Exechiini Edwards. The majority of the material was collected in Fennoscandia, mainly in Sweden, in the first half of the 19(th) century. Altogether 37 species of the tribe Exechiini could be safely identified. 2005-02-11 An essential part of the Museum of Comparative Zoology's mission is to support scientists wishing to pursue research and to conduct fieldwork. The MCZ is pleased to offer resources to help researchers fund their work.
